Dr. Alison Messina was born and raised in New York City. She attended Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ and graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Wildlife Biology. She attended veterinary school at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, on the island of St. Kitts in The West Indies, and completed her clinical year in 2009 at The University of Pennsylvania. Her professional interests include dentistry, feline medicine, and geriatric medicine. Dr. Messina shares her life with her boyfriend, three cats, two dogs, and a rabbit. She enjoys drawing and painting, running, vegan dining, and Buddhist meditation.
