Dr. Janice Goode was raised in sunny St. Petersburg, Florida and attended Florida State University, receiving her B.A. in Biology, with a minor in Chemistry in 1988. While attending FSU, she worked as an animal keeper at an area zoo, and in the genetics research lab at FSU. She moved to Madison, Wisconsin to attend the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Wisconsin, graduating in 1994, where her focus was on small animal and exotic, medicine and surgery. Dr. Goode has worked in several small animal hospitals, caring for cats, dogs and exotic patients, 24-hour emergency hospitals, and for Bristol Myers Squibb, as a veterinary consultant. When she is not caring for your furry or scaly family members, you can find her at a rock concert, spending time with friends and family, or on a flying trapeze. At home, she has several cats and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named “Juliette”.
